This is the slim one. It holds 2 Maxspect Nano Tech anaerobic blocks in the slimmest frame of our 3 Maxspect holders, with flow through the blocks and a safe place for copepods below.
Is there a holder for Maxspect Nano Tech anaerobic blocks?
Yes, this one, made for 2 anaerobic blocks. If anaerobic blocks are your media, this is the holder to pick. The blocks are not included, so buy them separately.
How big is the frame?
The frame is 105mm long and 27.5mm high. That is the slimmest of our 3 Maxspect holders, and lower than even the bio block holder, which stands 36mm.
Want the exact width before you order? Message Harry on WhatsApp and ask.
Will copepods breed in it?
The design includes a sheltered space for amphipods and copepods, away from fish. We cannot promise it will work in your tank. Where a colony does build up, the pods may graze on the bacteria and detritus in the blocks.
Colours and photos
There are 5 colours, the same as our other Maxspect holders. The photos show the holder with 2 blocks resting on top, so you can see how they sit.
Who makes it?
Maxspect Nano Tech blocks are sold by Maxspect, not by us. The holder is our own design, 3D printed by Marine Spec as an independent accessory, and Maxspect has not made or endorsed it.
