Corals and small fry feed on them too. For more on mandarins, read what to feed a mandarin goby.

Do I strain the culture first?

No need. Pour the culture straight into the tank, or sieve the shrimp out of the salt water first if you prefer. Adjust the amount to the fish you are feeding and to your own reef.

Why is the culture green?

A little of our live nannochloropsis phytoplankton goes into the pouch, and that tints it pale green. The phytoplankton is beneficial to most saltwater systems, so you do not have to remove it.

How do I store the shrimp?

Refrigerate them as soon as they arrive and use them within 1 week of purchase. They are live, so plan them around a feed rather than stocking up.

What else do you sell for live feeding?

Our live marine copepods and live nannochloropsis phytoplankton are in the live foods collection.
